DuMOL Winery

Project: Craig Frazier and I developed The DuMOL Dirt for DuMOL Winery—a quarterly digital and print publication on the building blocks of great winemaking.

We took an education-over-marketing approach—the opposite of slick, gold-foiled, and braggy—filling The Dirt with approachable design, written from the POV of a layperson learning from an expert winemaker—DuMOL’s Andy Smith.

For added humanity, we attributed the writing to me, so readers could engage, ask questions, and send kind remarks—all of which happened with great frequency.
